Since its establishment in 1986, Coex has been at the forefront of Korea’s MICE industry, hosting approximately 150 exhibitions and more than 2,000 international conferences and events each year. As Korea’s leading convention and exhibition center, Coex plays an important role in supporting trade, business and the MICE industry.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n<\/p>\n\n\nOver the years, Coex has hosted a number of major international events, including the ASEM Summit in 2000, the G20 Seoul Summit in 2010, and the Nuclear Security Summit in 2012. These events reinforced Korea’s reputation as a trusted destination for international meetings and events. Looking ahead, Coex will continue to expand its global network and international partnerships, creating new opportunities for Korea’s MICE industry.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Coex has grown beyond a convention and exhibition venue to become one of Korea’s leading destinations, where business, culture and tourism come together in one place.<\/p>\n
Since the designation of the Gangnam MICE Tourism Special Zone in 2014, Coex has continued to enhance the visitor experience while working closely with businesses across the World Trade Center Seoul complex. As the industry evolves, Coex is also introducing new spaces and services that reflect the changing needs of the MICE community.<\/p>\n
Among our recent developments are:<\/p>\n
\uffed Studio159 \u2013 A digital studio designed for online and hybrid events, enabling more flexible and engaging event experiences.<\/p>\n
\uffed The Platz \u2013 An open event hall at the heart of Coex, creating new experiences and opportunities for networking among visitors and event participants.. <\/p>\n
\uffed Coex Magok \u2013 A new MICE complex in Magok, developed as a hub where innovative businesses and the MICE industry come together.<\/p>\n
Alongside these developments, Coex will continue to modernize its existing spaces while introducing new and distinctive content, offering visitors new experiences.<\/p>\n
Coex will continue to expand its role beyond exhibitions and conventions by bringing together culture, tourism and emerging technologies to create new opportunities for the MICE industry.<\/h4>\n
